When traveling abroad one of the key needs that should be secured and properly set to any traveler is his accommodation. Fajr center realizes the importance of residence comfort in the process of education in a foreign country, and therefore provides accommodation services within its DHL department.
Although it may seem as a simple task, the DHL have undergone many ...improvements and updates to perform this tedious task.
Our Accommodation services are divided into Four different services:
(1). Apartment Search Service.
(2). Rooms for rent in the DHL apartment.
(3). Roommate searching service.
(4). Hotel Accommodation Services
House searching could be a very tedious task depending upon the time of the year. Egypt being known as the mother of civilization attracts thousands of tourist each year, therefore we have established this service along some special polices to avoid discomfort to our students and to help them focus on their education without having to be bogged down with the thoughts of house searching, haggling and dealing with thousand of home owners who are not familiar with the various languages and customs of our students.
Location of Apartments
Currently Fajr center has three branches in the areas of : Nasr City, Maadi , and Dokki.
What are the difference between those locations ?
We have chosen three different areas for our branches to suit the different needs, budgets and standards of living for all of our students, but at the same time we worked very hard to establish our facilities in areas, which will make finding apartments easier and affordable in-comparison to other areas.
The DHL focuses on searching for apartments as close as possible to our facilities depending on availability and students accommodation requirements. However it is important to note that we have standards in our search methodology, based upon our long experience and students’ feedback.
Why are some apartments cheaper? ( variable , standard, good price,..etc)
How the service works:
(1) Request an apartment search in your course registration 2 weeks prior to your arrival, for summer Intensive program students we request that you inform us 1 month in advance Please do not delay in this matter, Cairo is filled with tourist during the summer season and apartments may not be available in abundance.
(2) DHL of Fajr Center will find 1-3 apartments containing closet match to the specifications listed by the student
(3) Upon the student’s arrival to Cairo he/she will be taken to the apartments , if the student arrives at a late time or there isn’t enough time to see all the apartments he/she will be taken to
a 3-star hotel for the first night. This will give the student enough time to inspect the apartments and make a choice.
(4) When the student picks an apartment the rental agreement and all business pertaining to the apartment will be agreed and signed upon by the landlord and the student.
Please note :
While DHL is not obligated to assist any student with housing request who do not send their request in two weeks prior to arriving in Cairo, we will try our best to find an apartment for our students. If DHL does not find an apartment during this short time we will provide lodging for any student that falls within this category in a hotel.
Please note: Fajr Center will act as a liaison between the student and the landlord during the time the student studies in our institution. Rental agreements are to be signed by the student and the landlord only not by DHL or any member of our staff.(policy)
(2) Roommate Searching service:
This service suits students who wish to live with other students in the same apartment or they have a tight budget and wish to split the rent.

(3) Hotel accommodation services:
Our hotel services have been praised by many of our students who have enjoyed living in a luxurious hotel at a reasonable price.
The DHL has entered into a contract with the Hotel to assure that all our students will be provide with a room on request at any time during the year, even during the most busiest tourist seasons.
Our goal is to ensure that all our students have a place to stay when they arrive in Cairo making it easy for them to focus on their studies.
This service is available for students wishing to stay the whole length of their stay or for even one night stay.
How this service works:
(1) Request hotel accommodation in your course registration 1 month prior to your arrival, for summer Intensive program students we request that you inform us 2 months in advance Please do not delay in this matter, Cairo is filled with tourist during the summer season and hotel rooms may not be available in abundance.
(3) Upon the student’s arrival to Cairo he/she will be taken to the hotel if he/she requested our airport pickup service (link) if the student has his/her own arrangements we can give him/her the hotel address upon request.
Note: If the student decides to go to the hotel without prior confirmation with fajr center, he might not find an available room.
