• How can I register in a program?
You can register by choosing the courses that you wish then pressing the get the course link in addition to student service requested, then it should appear on your cart then press send in you cart page.
• How and when does one register when coming from abroad?
Through this web site we have developed a registration system in which students can register through courses online in a virtual cart. After reviewing the cart the student is approved or denied his requested courses. Upon approval students are given the option to pay online for their courses and therefore confirm their registration. If students don't wish to pay online we have alternative methods of payments such as swift transfer or instructing someone to pay in cash. Group classes in the regular fos-ha program is an exception in which we don't require students to pay prior to the start of the course.
• Is there a minimum age to study at the Center?
Yes, the minimum age is 12 years, unless the student shows an ability to study in class with other students and this is done by a face to face meeting with the head of the teaching department.
• What are the difference between Group, private, semi-private , special group and custom classes?
1) Most of the classes offered at The Fajr Center are group classes. Our group classes are designed to provide a challenging and a very competitive classroom environment.
A group class size range between three to twelve students. In keeping with the very high standard we have established for ourselves as an institute that graduates highly academic students, we have made it our policy to limit classroom size; not to exceed twelve students,(our average student per class is 4.6) thus giving our teachers the capability to concentrate on every individual student within his/her classroom.
2) Private classes are specially designed to accommodate students with little time but yet want to receive quality education plus having the opportunity to speed up or slow down the pace of study depending on the teacher’s recommendation. It can also start at any time of the year upon the student’s request.
At the top of these benefits is the luxury of a student having his/her own teacher.
3) semi-private classes consists of two students in the same level assigned to a teacher. Like the One-on-One private class there are many benefits in enrolling in this type of private class.
And from these benefits is the luxury of a student having his/her own teacher along with a competitive partner creating a semi-group class environment at the same time having access to all the benefits of being in a One-on-One private class.
4) Custom classes are made to fulfill all the needs of those who didn't find any of the above classes suitable for them and have their own special needs. For example: Special times, special teacher, special pace ,special books, disabilities, locations… etc.
For more information on how to customize a class to suit your learning experience please contact us.
5) Special group or university group classes are designed to fulfill requests from university groups, individuals, schools, companies, embassies….etc
This kind of class is similar to our classical Fus-ha group classes with an addition of some Extended features.
In this type of class, groups can customize their time needs, location, pace and number of students even if it doesn't match our academic calendar.
For such arrangements please contact us !

• I want to study Arabic this summer in Egypt, can i ask are these courses suited to all because i have no knowledge of the Arabic language so will be starting from the very basics. Is this ok?
Please note that all our students sit for a placement exam(oral and written) before commencing studies in our center, and they are put in the appropriate level (starting from zero = no Arabic background to Level 11 ). Each session of courses (8 consecutive sessions per year in addition to 4 Intensive programs (3 in the summer and 1 in the winter)) that we offer includes many levels available to accommodate our various student levels. Therefore there are no worries that the student will not find a class for him no matter what level he/or she needs in Arabic.
• What are the details concerning your upcoming summer Intensive program in Summer 2007?
• I want to study for one year or more ?
This is possible at our center since we already pre-schedule our group classes for the year. Our schedule up to January 2008 is currently available.
So our students don't have to worry about the availability of classes, once they start in a course at any level they can proceed to the next level and continue their studies finishing the number of levels that they wish.
Our 12 levels takes about 1.5 years to finish, each level takes about 5 weeks. To schedule your program and determine its length please refer to our calendar @

Then she/he is put in the suitable level. All our group classes offered in our schedule contain classes that offer almost all our levels from 0 to 11.
